I am the founder of Cairo Hackerspace 2009 and am the IoT lab manager of the first IoT lab in Middle East. I am also a stunt-man for commercial films in addition to hacking, making, inventing, and building. I enjoy parkour and skydiving.

Accepted Talks:

Teach the internet the language of your plants. Learn how to communicate with and monitor your garden with internet of things (IoT) basics.

In this workshop, you will learn how to build your own complete internet of things garden, which will enable you to monitor the health of your plants from the internet. You will program your own electronics (or hardware), build and connect sensors, and design a specialized dashboard to check on your plants and their progress from anywhere and any device.

Included in the workshop is a brief introduction about internet of things, basic electronics and programming.

Note: 15 participants maximum, please sign up. Please come 10 mins before workshop and bring your laptop if possible.

Attending workshops are free for participants who sign up. If you would like to take one of the products with you after the workshop, donations are very welcome in order to cover the cost of materials.
